On Being Sane in Insane Places This is a college level reading exploring a sociological experiment that was aimed at exploring how we define sanity and insanity. It is fascinating, but it is also a difficult reading. For this reading, I want you to read and annotate (in whatever form is most useful to you), and take Cornell Notes. Focus particularly on the following things:
Your notes will be due on Thursday at the start of class, and we will be discussing this reading on Thursday as well. This is a difficult reading, so take your time, look up terms, make sure you understand what it is saying before you move on to the next paragraph.
